Description: Implementation of controlled technical dismantling post-fire and complete establishment of the new Museu da Língua Portuguesa (Museum of the Portuguese Language) involving restoration of its mortar facades and decorative elements; reconstruction of wooden frames; installation of a new roof structure with zinc cladding while maintaining its original volumetry; addition of new support areas, including a mezzanine; construction of special building facilities for the museum implantation; installation and automation of a new air conditioning system; restoration of the remaining area not damaged by the fire.
All timber used either bore an FSC stamp or was repurposed from the aftermath guards. The Museum received qualification and obtained the LEED Silver certification for the qualified job of the company together with FRM (Fundação Roberto Marinho).
